2013 Acura RDX Concept
The 2013 Acura RDX concept had its world debut this week at the Detroit auto show, previewing the next generation model, which will go on sale this spring. The Acura RDX is a 5-seat crossover SUV, equipped with an all-wheel-drive system. For the 2013 RDX, Acura has developed a new 3.5-liter V-6 engine, which has an output of 273 hp. This is 33 hp more than the current version of the model. Although it offers more power, the 2013 Acura RDX will also get decent mileage. To improve the fuel economy of the 2013 RDX, Acura has equipped its 6-speed automatic transmission version with a new lock-up torque converter and a lighter AWD system. The 2013 RDX is rated at 20 mpg in the city and at 28 mpg on the highway. Its fuel consumption on the combined cycle has not been announced yet. The front-wheel-drive version of the 2013 RDX will offer the best fuel economy.
